That’s why we have implemented the SchoolCare student accident insurance policy, offering comprehensive worldwide coverage for accidental injuries. This insurance plan ensures that your child is protected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of their location.

Our SchoolCare policy offers various benefits to ensure the safety of students during school-related activities, such as official school trips and excursions. One of the covered benefits includes emergency transport in the event of accidents. It is important to note, however, that the SchoolCare policy specifically covers injuries resulting from accidents only.

Please be aware that if your child requires emergency transport due to an illness, such as asthma attacks, allergic reactions, fainting, or breathing difficulties, Catholic Church Insurance (CCI) is unable to cover the associated costs. The policy solely applies to accidents and does not extend to cover emergency transport for illness-related incidents.

We encourage parents to take necessary precautions and make appropriate arrangements regarding their child’s medical conditions, ensuring their well-being during school activities.

Having adequate ambulance cover brings invaluable peace of mind. The cost of emergency ambulance services typically ranges from $600 to $800. By having Ambulance Service coverage, you eliminate any financial burden associated with emergency ambulance transport.

We strongly recommend that all families obtain SA Ambulance Cover to ensure comprehensive protection for ambulance transport expenses, regardless of the reason. In the event that your child requires an ambulance while at school and you do not have adequate coverage, parents will be responsible for covering the associated expenses.
