How can you help!
The role of volunteers is very important to our school community. Parents, caregivers and grandparents can become involved in the school community in many ways:
Primary teachers welcome parents into their classrooms throughout the day to help the children with a variety of activities. Teachers will include these opportunities in their classroom welcome letter at the start of the year and frequently via the student diary.
The LAP at St Joseph's School is a program to cater to the needs of students who require extra assistance with their school work or to be extended academically. A commitment of one lesson per week is all that is required and volunteers are matched to the LAP students according to their interests and strengths. If you feel that you could help with this program or would like more information please contact the LAP Coordinator via the school front office.
Our school canteen provides healthy lunches and snacks for students across all year levels. Canteen staff welcome help throughout the day to ensure a fast and efficient service for the students. If you would like to help please contact the Canteen Manager via the School front office.
We value the safety and security of our school community. Because of this, all volunteers at St Joseph's School must undertake a Police Check. This is a very easy process and there are no costs involved.
Please contact the School for more information or to complete your clearance.
