SEQTA Learn, Engage and Teach is an all-in-one teaching and learning student management system that brings teachers, students and parents together in an online community. Teachers are now using this space to create units of work, lesson plans, take attendance, record student information, write reports and much, much more! The great thing about this space is that parents also have the capacity to log in and get information about their child’s education through SEQTA Engage.
SEQTA Engage allows parents to view a range of important information like due dates, current assessment tasks and academic reports. Parents can also use the messaging feature of this program to contact teachers and report student absences. These are just some of the many features that are available to parents through this space. It is important to us that all parents register and engage in SEQTA to ensure this program is effective at providing fast, quality information between school and home. Frequently Asked Questions
I've forgotten my username and password for SEQTA Engage or I haven't been given one, what can I do?
Parents of students recently enrolled or current parents who have misplaced their portal credentials can email seqta@sjspl.catholic.edu.au or phone the School. As with any digital credentials, it is important that you are the only person who uses your parent portal ID and password.
I've forgotten my password for SEQTA Engage, what can I do?
If you have forgotten your password and still know your username. You can reset your password yourself by clicking on the button labelled "Forgot your password?" on the SEQTA Engage login screen. You will be prompted for your registered email address and an email will be sent to that address to reset your password. NOTE: The link in the email will expire in 1 hour of being sent.
How do I configure the SEQTA Engage App?
Once you have installed the SEQTA Engage App from the relevant App Store, you have two methods available to set it up:
- Go back to the Welcome email sent from the school and click on the QR Code, it will automatically open the app and prompt to set a username and password.
- Open the App and choose the Manual Setup option. Enter the school’s SEQTA Engage URL parent.sjspl.catholic.edu.au. Set a username and password as prompted.
