Liverpool Street Newsagency is again organising stationery needs for our students via a secure online ordering system. This quick and easy online ordering system will help streamline the ordering process for families.
All stationery ordering details including instructions for logging in, payment and collection/delivery can be accessed here.
Please note: to login for the first time this year, your password will be the same as your username. You will then be prompted to change your password.
For families preferring a printed copy, this can be downloaded, printed and the completed form delivered direct to Liverpool Street Newsagency. Liverpool Street Newsagency and the School Office Team are happy to assist if you don't have internet access.
The St Joseph’s School Uniform Shop will close for the school holidays on Wednesday, 9th December 2020 at 5:00pm and will re-open for Term 1 on Monday, 18th January 2021 at 9:00am.
Extended trading hours for the week prior to school commencing are as below to assist families with their uniform requirements.

School Laptop Program
Students in Year 7 to Year 12 are required to bring a laptop to school as Digital Technologies are integrated across the curriculum to enhance learning. Parent information is sent out via the the Pastoral Care Leaders throughout the year. Please ensure you purchase and receive your device before the beginning of the school year.

Parents and caregivers agree at the time of enrolment that they will be responsible for their children’s fees while at the School. There is an expectation that this commitment will be honoured.
Payment of Fees
An annual Fee Statement/Tax Invoice will be issued at the beginning of the school year.
Full fee paying families who opt to pay their entire year fees by 26th February 2021 will qualify for the 5% Tuition Fee discount. All previous outstanding amounts must be paid to qualify for the discount. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, please contact a member of the Finance Team to confirm the amount. This early payment discount option can be made in person at the School Office via credit card, cash or cheque.
Alternatively, fees can be paid by Direct Debit (PaySmart), which allow families to have their fees deducted automatically over a 10 month period (February – November) on a payment cycle that suits your particular circumstances, for instance, weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. Families will be emailed their own unique payment link soon after the Fee Statement/Tax Invoice has been issued.

Families can apply for financial assistance if they have extenuating circumstances or if their financial situation has changed significantly. If this is the case, we invite you to complete the Financial Assistance Application form, accompanied by a letter outlining the reasons for the application. Assistance may be offered in a variety of ways, including fee reduction or extension of time for payment. All applications are considered on an individual basis in the strictest of confidence.
Student Information Update
Families are asked to inform the School of any changes in address, phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, or if your child develops a medical condition as soon as these occur. We are aware that every family's circumstances are different therefore it is vital that both caregivers update details.
As electronic distribution of information to families is our preferred method, please be advised that we utilise the email address of PG1 (1st contact listed below) for this.

School Involvement (Volunteers)
St Joseph's School relies on the generosity and contribution of parents; caregivers and volunteers in a myriad of ways to provide quality education for students attending our school.
As directed by Catholic Education South Australia (CESA), it is policy and practice to ensure that all individuals who have a responsibility through their role as a volunteer within the school environment, undergo a ‘Child Related Employment Screening’. Through the Catholic Education ‘Screening and Verification Authority’ unit and also the Department of Human Services (DHS), an assessment is made as to a person’s suitability for volunteering. Upon completion of processing, individuals will be provided with notification of their application status. There is no cost to individuals who submit their applications through the school.
If you have a current DHS screening - 'Working with Children Check', and you wish to volunteer your services to the school, please advise the Front Office staff.
