Department for Education – School Bus Service Application 2022
Please note the following information regarding travel on a Departmental Bus commencing next year.
We have been advised that from the beginning of next year there will be some restructuring of bus services in areas surrounding Port Lincoln, and also a change to the existing eligibility policy. The new policy means that students from both our school and the Navigator College, regardless of age, will now be eligible to apply for travel.
By way of clarification, this is the information that has been provided to us:
“Primary and secondary students attending non-government schools and who reside 5 km or more by the shortest most practical route from the nearest government school, have a right to use existing bus services to travel to the Government school (Port Lincoln Junior Primary School / Port Lincoln High School)”.
The School Bus Service Application 2022 form can be found below. It is essential that you complete this form for your child/ren to guarantee a seat next year.
Once your form has been submitted, confirmation of travel will be sent to you by the School Bus Coordinator from the Port Lincoln Primary School. An annual service cost of $60.00 per student, applies to this travel and you will be invoiced accordingly.
If you have any concerns, please call the school.
